Cold Blast

Another month has passed, we have seen the awesome autumn colours and now we are experiencing the chill of winter with fresh snow on the mountains.

Looking in on the local real estate market the impression being given is one of “holding its own”. I don’t think prices are really rising but having said that not significantly reducing. There seems to be sufficient buyer enquiry to ensure supply and demand is providing equilibrium. There still appears to be a pent up demand for sections, a demand that is not being satisfied by what is currently available on the market. Hopefully some of the much talked about developments will proceed to market sooner rather than later.

Well the Ice hockey tournament held in Queenstown last month was a raging success, both from Queenstown as a venue for an International Ice Hockey Federation event but also with New Zealand under 18 picking up the gold medal, well done an impressive performance. Also well done to Queenstown Ice Hockey Club for stepping up to the mark to run such a succesful event.

If Michelle or I can help in any way don’t hesitate to contact us.

Cheers

Charlie & Michelle
